We are equipped to see certain vet emergencies during our regular hours. However, if your pet experiences an after-hours emergency, they require an overnight observation, or we determine they require a level of specialty care that can be better provided elsewhere, we’ll refer you to the closest specialty care or emergency animal hospital.

Signs of Veterinary Emergency

  • Frequent Vomiting or Retching
  • Frequent Bouts of Diarrhea or Straining
  • Difficulty Breathing (heavy or shallow)
  • Bloated or Distended Abdomen
  • Hyperthermia (heat stroke)
  • Hypothermia (low body temperature)
  • Straining to Urinate and / or Blood in Urine
  • Convulsions or Seizures
  • Any Trauma (hit by a car, fall, fight)
  • Injury or Irritation to the Eyes
  • Exposure to Poison or Chemicals
  • Inability to Deliver Puppies or Kittens
  • Burns
  • Lacerations or Bleeding Wounds
