DAH 2015 Bark for Life is a Great Success!

Bark For Life Campaign
Thank you to everyone who donated time, money and raffle items to our 2015 Delphos Relay for Life "Bark for Life" campaign. We will continue to collect donations and sell our t-shirts through August, 2015. Our staff always has a really good time coming up with new ideas and collecting funds for this American Cancer Society fundraiser that celebrates the many caregiving qualities of our canifne companions. Thanks to our many captains who committed to raising a minimum of $100 each to help us climb toward our $10,000 goal. To date in 2015, we have raised over $9,000 towards this goal. We would like to extend sincere thanks to our Bark for Life partners: Elida Dog Grooming, The Delphos Creamery, and Pam Wade & Jane Irwin (our Brats and Hotdogs providers). Special thanks also to our top captains: Cynthia Friedhoff, Sondra Ebbeskotte, Teresa & Kevin Klaus, Libby Cupp, Linda & Pat Krendl, Vicki Kramer, Ron & Marcia Conner (Team Wyoming), Sharon Moorman, Delphos United Equity, and Joyce and Patrice Bowersock Keating. Without all of you, our success would not be as great...we think ALL of you are AWESOME!! Thank you for helping us FINISH THE FIGHT!!!

DAH Volunteers at “Supper’s On Us”

Food Prep Staff
Delphos Animal Hospital doctors and staff recently volunteered for "Supper's On Us" at Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos. This event occurs every Thursday and welcomes anyone to attend to enjoy a free meal and fellowship. The weekly event serves anywhere from 50-125 local people who enjoy a nutritious meal, complete with a beverage and dessert. DAH provided 4 employee volunteers, multiple delicious desserts and a monetary donation to pay for the next week's meal. We had a great time and truly enjoyed making new friends and giving back to the community!

DAH Collecting Food With Allen County Dog Warden

Animal Food Drive

The Delphos Animal Hospital is joining forces with the Allen County Dog Warden again this year to better the holidays for pets. We are collecting food for dogs and cats, as well as toys and treats. It is a difficult time of year for many and we wish to make this season brighter for everyone - pets included! The food will be available through the Allen County Dog Warden to those in need starting on Thanksgiving, until the supply is gone. Contributions may be dropped off here at the Delphos Animal Hospital from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8:30 am to 2:30 pm on Saturdays. We will be collecting until Christmas. Won't you help us make Christmas merry and bright?
